As part of the National Black Spot Program CCOM was contracted to make ready a Transgrid tower and install and integrate Optus telecommunication equipment to deliver a new Optus base station in the remote area of Nymboida.
The scope included:
Decommissioning Steelwork and strengthening the existing tower
Repositioning of existing Government antenna
Installation of Optus Telecommunications equipment
Microwave dish panning
Electrical upgrade works include new transformer, overhead services and site metering
Full site integration and hand over
